    While there were a couple of surprises in the Oscar nominations this morning, Demián Bichir’s nomination was the one I was most excited about.  If you haven’t seen A Better Life, it’s definitely worth a rental.  It’s not a perfect film, but it really caught me off guard and hit me in my heartimus maximus.  He’s phenomenal in it.  Check it out.
